Choose the Hauler for the airlifting objective
The Hauler Wasp is the aircraft you need for airlifting in ATMOSFAR. Its reelable magnet lifts heavy scrap and other cargo that you cannot carry by hand.
Wasp classes have different jobs: the Utility Wasp carries a portable camp, while the Striker Wasp is designed for combat. For the airlifting objective, look for the Hauler class.
Repair and refuel before the pickup
Use your welder and the materials requested in game to repair the Hauler before an airlift. Damage can affect a Wasp’s handling and fuel consumption. Check the aircraft’s condition and fuel separately before collecting the load.
Wasps run on liquid hydrogen, which a hydrogen refinery produces from hydrogen crystals. Confirm that the refinery has produced usable fuel, then follow the current interaction prompt to refuel the aircraft. Allow fuel for both the cargo flight and the return trip.
Attach the cargo and make the delivery
- Secure the target cargo with the Hauler’s magnet so the aircraft can lift and move it.
- Reel the magnet cable to adjust the attached load’s position for transport.
- Fly the secured cargo to its destination, taking time to line up the delivery.
- For an oversized load going into the Cloud Cruiser, deliver it through the cargo lift so it can enter the ship.
Use the inventory for smaller finds
The Hauler combines its lifting magnet with inventory slots for smaller items and artifacts. You can place those finds in the slots by hand. Use the inventory for loose supplies while the magnet carries the heavy airlift target.
